I did it!!

Yes, I finished my first block from A Tiskit A Tasket BOM from Bunny Hill. May Britt showed me how to do needle turn applique by useing Roxanna glue.


It was fun. But, as you understand, I have some catching up to do since block seven is already out.

BOM and Kitty again

Yes!! I've finnished Lynette Andersons Noah's Ark BOM. One of my WISP's that I wanted to finnish for the challange May Britt and Kris is putting up.

Remeber I told you about making a quilt for Gizmo (our house cat). Well, I could not do less for this cute kitty visiting us. So, yesterday I finnished this quilt for her.

Yes, Kitty allready got the point. This is a quilt to be used. Puuurrrrrrfect to nap on!!

What I'm working on ...

The clock is ticing faster and faster. At least is feels like it. Allready two weeks since my last blog. MIL is not doing any better and we travle back and forth to be with her. She is still in the hospital on 6th week. I find it hard to consentrate on sewing and blogging.

However, I have made some progress in the line of sewing. I have finished stitchery and put together Noah's Ark BOM from Lynette Anderssons blog. I feel like the work looks a bit unfinished and have desided to put on two set of borders before quilting and binding. One inner border in beige (I think) and an outer border in red (or perhaps blue?) Oh, many choices to be made. I'll post a new photo when I have added borders.

I've started a new project. This is some flower blocks from a book by Buggy Barn. They have a special way to stack, cut and sew their blocks. It is fun to make this blocks. I have made 12 in white and blue for a tablecloth to match my new rug in my kitchen.

Have a look at my new play mate in my sewing room. I love this Pfaff. It have all Pfaff's specialitys as well as the special lift sensores my Husqvarna Designer 1 have. My new sweetheart!!

Tomorrow is a new day. Thank God it's Friday!!

Hi again

I am so sorry that nothing have happened on my blog for some weeks. I have been sick with pneumonia - again. I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired! I am recuperating and a lot better. Some times life just get in the way. End of topic.

Linda is mentoring a great Bag/ Bucket swap. I love swaps :-) Somebody overseas is getting this nicely wrapped gift soon. Should I show you whats inside? I think I will let the receiver do that. :-)

I did not sign up for the Stitcher's Angle swap at Helen's. However I enjoy the patterns from the very talented designers. I have made the Armchair caddy from Helen. Lovely and usefull thing.

It's made to match my old worn sofa. The Armchair caddy is allready put to good use.



As you can see I have kept up with Lynnette Anderssons Noah's Ark BOM too. I love this small blocks. Fast and easy to do. Looking forward to next block.



I hope I have not missed out on anything important and interesting in this great world of quiltrelated bloggers. I subscribe to several blogs and need a few days to catch up on what's happening.

BOM and todays work

I simply love this BOM project from Lynette Anderson! The stitchery is small and perfect for a few hours work. Also the block plan indicates that this is not a big quilt. I simply love the idea of being almost done when all the blocks are done. I'm having great fun doing this BOM.


Last couple of days I have been working on more than secrets with my sewingmachine. Today I finished making thank-you-notes for every guest in my birthday party. I have not done any scrapbooking earlier, but the seating cards (is it called that??) turned out OK. The table was nicely decoratet with red roses, ivory and some glittery stuff in the middle. I used "glittery stuff" from the table decoration as a base on cardstock. I took photos of red roses from my garden because I forgot to take photos of the red roses on the table. I duplicatet the photos in passport size and cut out heart shapes. To make the rose-heart stand out I used some kind of foamstrips with glue on both sides to glue it on to the glittery stuff. All you educated scrapbookers know what I'm talking about. Pleace forgive me, this is my first attempt.

It was fun to play with photos and templets for cut out shapes. But no it's back to my sewing machine.

Tomorrow at 18.00 is the time for a winner of the drawsting bag.
